About our school
Hope Community School, Sidcup is part of The New Generation Schools Trust. We were the first Free School to open in the London Borough of Bexley. The school opened its doors in September 2013, with a Reception class of 30 children. We increased our numbers year on year until we reached a full capacity of 210 primary pupils from Reception to Year 6 in 2019.
Our exciting and innovative school is school of Christian designation, open to children of any and no faith. The school predominately serves the Cray Meadows ward, including Foots Cray, North Cray and surrounding areas.
We are a caring, happy school, striving to encourage children to achieve their very best and to feel that they are a valued member of our community. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, nurturing environment for our children, where staff know children well and relationships are strong.
All of our children are taught the National Curriculum and there are many opportunities to develop their individual talents and their awareness of the world through our exciting and diverse curriculum offering.
