Happy Christmas to all!
End of term update!
We are coming to the end of a long term. We have packed so much in. Trips around the local area, trips to Deptford Creek, the Postal Museum, Parliament, as well as countless local trips.
We have worked with CRIBs, the SWAC team, MYBNK, Enabling Enterprise, James Brokenshire, the local ward Police, New Gen, the mentoring team, as well as other professionals. All to bring the best possible education to the children at Hope, meeting the aims of the Trust to develop our children as independent, creative, enterprising pupils.
A big thank you to the team, who have worked tirelessly over the past week, to bring a fantastic Nativity production, as well as Mrs Pearce who has led our Choir in many different carol services, including the Carol Services on Sunday and yesterday afternoon.
I would like to conclude the term with some wonderful news; Mrs Murphy is expecting her third child in June. Congratulations to her and her family. As a result, the leadership team will ensure that there is a good handover to a new member of staff who will take the Discoverers in the Summer term. Mrs Carvosso will ensure that the transition is smooth and the children`s education is not compromised; she will continue to support the class alongside Mrs Thomas, as they have been doing this term. More details will follow in the new year.
I hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas. I would like to thank you all for the help that you have provided the team over the last term. I would also like to thank my wonderful team, who put the children first in everything they do.
A reminder, the children return to school on the 4th January.
God bless.
Kind regards,
Dennis Irwin
