Hope Pupils turn detective.
On Wednesday 4th October, the pupils of Hope Community School turned detective to find out who stole the chocolate from the kitchen.
During our collective, Sarah, from Enabling Enterprise, explained the problem of the missing chocolate. Each class then explored the suspects (Little Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks, Hansel and Gretal), the evidence, the crime scene and the motives.
The children had to work as a team, listen to evidence, persevere and use powerful arguments. It was lovely to go into each class, from the Innovators to Pioneers, all discussing the different points of view about who did it and why. It taught the children to look at all the evidence before coming to a conclusion.
We all had a lot of fun! If you want to know who did it, ask the children!
