Wear it Yellow day

Wear it yellow day has so far raised £130 for the CF charity.

There may have been grey skies above and huge puddles on the road outside the school, but on Friday 18th June, children and staff across the school brought sunshine into the building by wearing yellow clothing.

The school decided to have a Wear it Yellow Day to raise funds for the CF, or Cystic Fibrosis Charity. Lois and Arthur arrived early so they could help collect the money as children arrived.

During the morning Collective they shared with the school that their cousin was born with CF. All the school learned more about this genetic disease and how it impacts on people's lives. You may like to watch the video connected to the link below to find out more about this illness.

Thanks to all who contributed to raising this money today.

Here is a good video to explain cystic fibrosis to children.
