Goodbye Mrs Wood

Mrs Wood is set to start her retirement.

After four years at Hope and over 30 years as a teacher, Mrs Wood, our Principal is stepping down from our school.

On Friday 21st the pupils, parents, staff and members of the Trust came together to say a warm thank you and goodbye to Mrs Anne Wood with a surprise Collective held in the main playground.  Pupils across the school and the school choir shared poems, art work and reflections of their time with Mrs Wood, they even included some ideas about what she could do in her retirement.

The Collective was finished with some words of thanks from Mr Paul Weston, Chair of the New Generation Schools Trust.

Mrs Wood thanked everyone for their warm wishes and stated that Hope School is a great place to be part of as it has the community at its heart and works in collaboration for the benefit of the children.
