Louie French MP in Hope

Local MP visits Hope School.

Today, Friday 17th June, Louie French our local MP for Bexley and Sidcup visited the school. All pupils met him in our Collective where he explained what an MP was, where he worked and what he does at work. A number of children, including members of the School’s Pupil Parliament alongside Year 6 pupils had previously visited his main place of work, the Houses of Parliament.

Children in the Discoverers and Innovators classes were able to ask him questions whilst they discussed how we can all be good citizens and strong members of the community, not only in school, but in our neighbourhoods. Mr French agreed to return to school to see the developments of our site in conjunction with the new Lidl store.
