A big welcome to you and thank you for taking the time to explore our amazing school.

We opened in September 2013 as Bexley's first free school. From the outset, we wanted this school to reach and serve the local community and still to this day, continue to make that a priority. From giving out gifts to families or singing in our local care home, we encourage the children in our care to think beyond themselves and learn about how to be great citizens in our world.

While we are a school of Christian designation and have families who attend our local churches, we also have many families who have different faiths or no faith. As part of our curriculum, children explore different values each week which include subjects like honesty, generosity, gratitude and many more.

Staff here know the children well and in our most recent OFSTED report pupils said, ‘We are happy and safe here. We like that everyone knows each other so well.’ Everyone who works at Hope Community School is committed to giving the children the very best learning opportunities to ensure they have every chance of success in the future.

We want to make sure that every child in our school is seen and heard.

Please come and visit us – we might be a small school but we make a mighty splash!

The Hope School team.
